Mr. Mauer is a Landscape Architect with 23 years of broad professional experience in the design and planning of large and small scale residential, commercial, urban design, parks & recreation, and hotel & resort projects. He is Principal in Charge of Design and has a wide range of experience in both land planning and landscape architectural projects including those involving multidisciplinary project teams. Mr. Mauer has been a valuable contributor on many large scale projects and has also provided team leadership leading teams of architects and engineers on numerous project including the Third Ward To Main street Connectivity Project, Houston Parks to Standards (55 City parks, with a $30,000,000 construction budget since 2002), International Management District Environmental Master Plan, and the OST/Griggs Road ROW projects. Mr. Mauer also was the principle in charge of the firms sub-consulting role on two high profile projects, Houston METRO’S Main Street Light Rail Project LS-5 and Houston Main Street Square.

The firm, under the leadership of Mr. Mauer, was recently selected by the City of Houston to continue its long standing relationship with the City to design additional parks and community centers throughout the City of Houston. He has significant experience with projects for various local and state projects including current clients such as the Cities of Houston, Freeport, Galveston, and Houston METRO, and TxDOT. In addition to being a talented landscape architect, Mr. Mauer is also a certified arborist.
