Emancipation Park Construction Begins with Ambitious Tree Preservation Approach

Construction has begun on the firm’s $25,000,000 project for the OST/Almeda Redevelopment Authority and City of Houston Parks Department.  M2L is the local design team leader with the Freelon Group out of Raleigh, North Carolina as the lead architect.   As part of the overall project, M2L worked to preserve the many large oak trees that are scattered throughout the City of Houston’s oldest park.  Completion of the project will be the fall of 2015.
