We know it’s bold to stake your claim on sustainability, but we do just that. We were passionate about the environment and how to make it more beautiful and sustainable before it was fashionable. We want to leave every space better when we’re done than when we started, without stripping natural resources or being poor stewards of that with which we’ve been entrusted. That means we bring our expertise as certified arborists, in LEED implementation and design, infrastructure Envision design, green-roof design, landscape organics, native plants, and the use of recycled materials to create finished spaces that extend and expand on a project’s natural resources. We always strive in our work to reduce environmental impact, conserve natural resources and leave behind self-sustaining projects. Today that’s called sustainability. We’ve always called it good business and stewardship, and doing the right thing — for our clients, our communities and the environment.

That’s why we support several outstanding philanthropic causes in the greater Houston area and beyond — The Miracle League/YMCA Houston Adaptive Sports, the Annual AIA Sandcastle Competition benefitting AIA Houston and the ArCH Foundation, and the St. John Lutheran Church Community Garden — and we encourage the efforts of our employees to regularly give back to their communities. On a more personal level, our principals have deep roots in Houston, Austin and the Lone Star State, and are passionate about making our communities better places to live and work.
